A Delusion

Probably sanctions, sanctions in the era of proxy wars. A new way to dehumanise humans because the oligarch has concerns, and is probably, don’t sit on the same bench. In times of geopolitical crises, the best way to teach a lesson, in today’s modern neo-capitalist world, are sanctions.

Sanctions, we all are aware of. Go watch the news, read the newspaper or look into social media, you will find someone, somewhere talking about sanctions, more specifically on economic sanctions. What is the latest news, sanctioning Russia! And before that, sanctioning, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, North Korea and our dear Cuba.

Iran has been the face of sanctioning, and the most brutally sanctioned country ever. Since the ’79 revolution to till today, from the slightest small things to its oil. And the same is the case with Cuba and other mentioned countries. But to specify more and go into the depth. The question should be not who is being sanctioned? Because it outlines the root problem and the hidden real of neo-capitalist capitalists and oligarchs. The real is who is sanctioning? Who has the power to decide, power to govern, power to legitimatise its acts? That’s where our Uncle Sam comes, the United States of America, governing the whole world. Do you see any selfhood in Europe, do you still see Europe? Where do you see it? I can’t see it. I see a slave Europe, being slaved by Uncle Sam. Do you talk about Eurocentrism, where? And how?

Thou’ it can be discussed in another article, about the foreign policy and integrity of Europe. To continue our rant, and talk in direct words, the United States of America sees, well, has the power to sanction any country which doesn’t come and sit in its lap. Alongside its slaves, the United Kingdom, and the European nations, all come to sanction when the orders have been given by their lord.

It’s being discussed, but my actual concern in writing about this was to talk about and jot down what I have been brooding since I got conscious about the outer world. People living in sanctions, the working class. Oh! Do you think sanctions are against the governments and the oligarch, bureaucrats sitting in the government? Oh! Come on, you got to be kidding me. What does sanctioning do? Did it prevent Putin from his mission? Did it so-called liberate the Afghans from the Taliban? Did it make the middle-east out of nuclear spike? Did you make the economy boast in Venezuela? So on and so on…

Sanctions are nothing but a new way to show your mindset of neo-colonialism. You still possess to have firm hands over these nations, making them sit in your lap. You terrorize countries and force them to sit on your lap. And in any case, where a rustic reactively reacts, you with your allied countries (your worshippers) come to sanction. Anyway, the outcome is not just a geopolitical context, it is much deeper in the sense that it cuts out people from people, a cut out of human relations, and humanity in itself.

To exemplify, in Iran’s case, as severely sanctioned, Iran can’t import any medicines from European countries, especially the lifesaving drugs (i.e., intradect; an antibiotic drug to fight hepatitis virus, cyclogest; to prevent miscarriages at a time of hard pregnancies which is commonly used in European countries). In a meeting of an Iranian pharmacist with an Italian health ministry authority, the pharmacist states that I presented my concern and what the response of the ministry was that I want to help you from my heart, but you know we can’t go against the laws imposed by the US (she even named CIA). To clear any doubt, even a non-US country can be fined a million-dollar fine and 20 years jail imprisonment if anyhow they trade with Iran or Iranian individuals.

There are many other cases out there to exemplify, but it is to show that the impact of sanctions is never to so-called “liberate the world from an evil”. Rather, to force those who don’t ally with you, don’t worship you, sit in your lap. In real sanctions have cut out human relations in the social and biological sense, forcing people to inhabit the forced implied relations, cutting out any connection among people, and dividing people, creating an atmosphere of hatred. It never liberated the world from a potential evil, nor would it. It’s nothing than a myth, a delusion. Even in a so-called free trade, which we loudly say it’s another delusion, they ought to trade freely without any intervention of state. It’s on the subject of nothing than the interest of oligarchs, the monopolists, the one who runs the economy, the big brothers there. Same can be talked about the impact of sanctions on the Russian people, it’s just the same story, liberation of whom!
